WHAT
IS eCOMPETENCE?
The definition of e-Competence used in this project covers
a number of different aspects. There is a distinction between
personal and institutional e-Competence. Both, however,
describe the capacity to successfully use e-Learning technologies
in routine educational practice. For example, the personal
e-Competence of an individual teacher describes their ability
and confidence at using ICT in their teaching and course
delivery. For an institution, it would describe the structures,
processes and policies in place that embed ICT use.
WHAT SORT OF “EFFECTIVE PRACTICE” COULD
BE INCLUDED IN THIS SURVEY?
Anything that you feel addresses the area of e-Competence
as described above or in the formal project documents.
Different to a theoretical model, a plan or a policy statement,
a practice or solution is meant to be a pattern of activities
which have been performed in reality. In a few words, give
the title of the practice or solution you want to present.
If you have additional information (URLs, documents), you
will find the opportunity to attach them to your description.
Please use a new form for each distinct practice or solution
you want to share with us.
Please click "sample response" in the
left box if you would like to view an example of what an
effective practice might be and how a description may look
like.
