Since our last our newsletter the EU[eComp]Int
website has taken several important steps towards
becoming a valuable travelling companion for our journey
through the world of eCompetence.
Most notably, the first in a series of survey activity has come
on line in the form of the Effective
Practice Database (EPD).
The EPD is the first ever pan-European attempt to gauge the level
of eCompetence that exists within university staff and structures.
The database, which features 26 questionnaires completed by our
project partners, outlines and assesses particular aspects of the
eCompetence activities which exist in many European institutions.
Also, the second
EU[eComp]Int symposium will take place in NUI,
Galway on April 14-15, 2005, and representatives from each of the
23 partners are warmly invited to join us for what promises to
be a stimulating and informative few days. All the key information
including the meetings agenda, a template for symposium papers
as well as travel and accommodation information has
now been added to the website.
Finally, our new project
calendar gives a quick and easy way for you to check the dates
of major
events within the EU[eComp]Int project. The site is still under
development and new items are constantly
being
added
so please
remember to visit back again in future!
