On February 24-25 the next project coordinator meeting will be
held at the University of Dortmund. The main focus of this meeting
is the detailed preparation of the agenda for Galway Symposium
that is planned in April. As far as I can guess now, the Galway
agenda will have three main topics:
1. presentation of the eCompetence papers that the consortium
partners have realised (first day)
a. introduction into the presentation session
b. presentation of the submitted eCompetence papers in parallel
sessions
2. assessment of the project
status after one year of the
project life-time (second day)
a. what have we realised so far?
b. what are the strengths and weaknesses of the chosen research
and collaboration activities?
c. what specific foci have developed?
3. joint discussion and decision on the future aims of the project
(second day)
a. what is the perspective for the second project term?
Apart from the Galway preparation we also have to deal with the
upcoming interim report to the Commission and other, not exactly
thrilling, administrative matters that are waiting in the project
background. But I am confident that the proven good morale of the
coordinators will help to deal with all upcoming challenges! The
detailed agenda for Galway will be made available as soon as possible.
