My short presentation of new and continuing contents in the website starts with the new eCompetence book. The title is "The Challenge of eCompetence in Academic Staff Development". It is published under the Creative Commons Licence. For additional info on Creative Commons, please visit http://creativecommons.org/. All book chapters are accessible in our website section: http://www.ecompetence.info/index.php?id=93. We hope you find some interesting contributions and welcome any feedback on the articles. Please mail to dirk.schneckenberg@uni-dortmund.de for comments.
Actually, we have some other interesting data collections and documents on eCompetence in our website. Christina has designed and published two eComp magazines. These magazine-style reports on eCompetence development measures at the University of Technology, Helsinki and the National University of Ireland, Galway are easy to read, but nonetheless they contain a bunch of useful information on the topic. They are downloadable in our news and events section at: http://www.ecompetence.info/index.php?id=110 Just have a look inside!
And for the database evidence on eCompetence, which we have collected and stored, I would like to point again to our two big sections, which inform you broadly on measures taken in a number of European and International universities. These are the Effective Practice Database, which you can find at http://www.ecompetence.info/index.php?id=57, and the Link Database: http://www.ecompetence.info/index.php?id=94. Both databases are situated in our eCompetence resources section of the website, and we will continue to analyse and compare activity patterns within the given examples on eCompetence measures in universities.
